Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is by far the most suitable kind of yoga for older people and can be taken at Max Health Club Aan de Vliet for The Hague, Voorburg, Leidschendam, Leidschenveen, Rijswijk and area.
 
Passive yoga
Compared to the active form (Yang), Yin yoga is practiced in a more passive manner. It is a silent “practice”.
Good for joints, tendons and connective tissues. You hold a pose for 2 minutes to 5 minutes or even longer which effects the deeper body tissues such as the connective tissues, tendons, joints and fascia. Through the gentle and soft stretches you will easily come into contact with the subtle layers in your body like energy, emotions and mind.
During the lessons you will also practice Qi Gong, Tai Ji and Do-in to cultivate body awareness.

Relaxation
Yin Yoga is originally meditative, nourishing and repairing. It offers an optimal balance for a busy and active lifestyle. More energy, resilience and harmony by letting gentleness in.
